The Persian blue salt is a rock salt - so it doesn’t contain iodine - from the mountains of Iran. Its amazing blue colour comes from its high content of sylvinite, potassium ore.Its flavour is also surprising: quite salty and finishing on a spicy note.
This salt is used as a finishing touch on meat, fish or vegetables.
