African long pepper looks like its relative, the Java long pepper, but is very different in taste. Sweet and fragrant, it does not sting and leaves in the mouth some unique notes of camphor and menthol.This pepper fits perfectly with meat or fish in sauce, mashed potatoes, or an endive gratin.
